Analyses on the Qualities of a Qualified Foreign Language Teacher

目前 ,大学外语教学模式正在经历着重大的变革 ,从“以教师为中心的语言技能式的传统教学”转向“以学生为中心的主题式的现代教学”。这一变革对外语教师的素质提出了更高的要求 ,为此本文对合格外语教师的素质进行了全新的分析 ,旨在加强广大外语教师的自我意识 ,不断提高自我素质 。

Foreign language teaching is being experiencing a conversion from traditional teacher centered skill oriented model to modern student centered content oriented model. This conversion is of a great challenge to teachers' qualities. This paper makes an analysis on the qualities of a qualified foreign language teacher, aiming at intensifying the self consciousness, improving their qualities, and promoting the reform of foreign language teaching.
