美的本质源于自然

Nature Is the Origin of the Essence of Beauty

本文就目前使用的高等教育美学教材中关于“自然美”的问题,提出商榷。从古代美学思想的产生、科学与艺术的发展,论证了科学思想和自然科学的成果,不但对美的判断产生了重要影响,对艺术如何表现自然美也产生了深刻的影响。人作为自然之子,在社会实践中既是能动的,又是受动的,从这个观点出发,美的本质源于自然。

The notion of natural beauty in the text book 'The Principles of Aesthetics' is discussed in this paper. By studying the ancient aesthetic theories and the development of science and arts, the authors show that scientific thoughts and discoveries have not only important influence on people's aesthetic judgments, but also have a profound influence on the ways of representing natural beauty in arts. As a part of nature, human interacts with the rest of the world. From such a point of view, nature is the origin of beauty.
