运用辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义的观点、方法,从历史与现实、理论与实践的结合上,通过对世纪之交我们党所面临的纷繁复杂的形势和历史使命的深刻分析,论述了"三个代表"思想提出的重大的理论意义和现实意义,科学地阐述了"三个代表"思想的丰富内涵和其内在的逻辑联系,指出"三表"思想是相互联系、相互作用、密切相关,构成一个辩证统一的整体,完整、准确地理解和把握其思想内涵,切实推进党的建设,关系到党的生死存亡关系到我国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的成败。

On the basis of history and relaity, theory and practice, the paper analyzes the complex situation and the historical mission,which our party has faced over the cen- turies by applying dialectical materialism and historical ma- terialism. It discusses the important relaistic and theoretical sense of the 'Three Symbols Idea',expounding the fruitful intension and internal logical relation of this idea. It points our that the Three Symbols' are interactive, mutual con- cepts that form a dialectical whole. To master its intension it is very important to push the construction of our party,our country's reform and the construction of modern socialism.
