摘要
本文通过对学生在中学时的学习经历,以及所形成的学习观念的分析,对照大学英语教学目标要求,认为学生存在的主要问题是过程性技能训练不足,从而提出大学英语教学手段与方法的重点应放在学生的基本技能的养成性训练上。
Based on the analysis of students' prior English learning experiences and their language learning beliefs and in the light of the objectives of the National Teaching Syllabus, the paper, argues that there exist some insufficient procedural skill training in English classrooms and thus proposes that college English teaching should be emphasized practical language skills development rather than knowledge-oriented instruction.
