浅析台商春节包机的过程及其意义

Brief analysis of the process and significance of the Spring Festival Charter Flight of the Taiwan Businessmen in China's Mainland

2003年1月26日上午8点52分,断绝了54年之久的两岸空中航路被台湾中华航空公司的CI-585飞机重新连接了起来。由于近年来两岸间交流交往日益频繁,贸易和人员流动的需要迫使台湾民进党当局不得不顺应民意,开启了两岸间直航的试金石。虽然有着百般阻挠,但是在祖国大陆有关部门的积极、务实推动和台湾航空业者的配合参与下,此次春节包机顺利成行,为今后两岸间直航,并最终达到“三通”奠定了良好的基础。

The airway across the Taiwan Straits which had been under termination for 54 years was reconnected at 8:52 Jan.26th 2003 by the flight CI-585 of Taiwan China Air Company. Due to the increasingly frequent communications across the Taiwan Straits and the needs of the flow of trade and people,D.P.P. had to follow the popular will and initiate the touchstone of the direct flight across the Taiwan Straits. Despite of various interferences,with the active and practical pushing by relevant departments of the Mainland and the cooperation of Taiwan air businesses,the Spring Festival Air Charter was successful,which set up a solid basis for the future direct flight across the Taiwan Straits and the eventual realization of “Three Links”.
