Impeachment is one of the important parts of American political system. It embodies the basic principle and spirit of the check and balance. Impeachment originated from England in the Middle Ages, and was brought to North American by immigrants, then became one of the struggling tools between the Colony and England. After independence, impeachment was whiten into the Constitution as democratic tradition and developed into the main system of the Lgislature supervising the Executive and Judiciary.
