The Survey on the Types of Private Merchant in the Period of Warring States and Qin and Han Dynasties

根据战国秦汉时期商人经营商品的性质、类别及经营业务的规模 ,可以把私商划分为 5类 ,即贩运商人、盐铁商人、囤积商人、农林畜牧商人和中小商人。除囤积商人外 ,其他类型的商人 ,特别是人数众多的中小商人 。

In the period of Warring States and Qin and Han Dynasties,there were traffickers,iron and salt merchants,corn merchants,farming and forestry and animal husbandry merchants,middle and small merchants,etc,according to run the commodity nature,commodity classification and transaction range.Except the corner merchants,other types of merchants especially the populous middle and small merchants had postive influence on economy development of society.
