建构有中国特色文学理论体系是关涉到我国文艺学学科发展前景的重要命题 ,该体系的建构不仅是可能的而且是必要的。在进行该体系的建构时 ,不能单以古代文论或西方文论为建构的母体 ,而是应该在立足现代文论的基础上打通古今 ,以古、今、中、外各方文论参加的“四方会谈”

The construction of the system of literary theory with Chinese characteristics is an important proposition, which concerns the prospect of the development of China's literary theory. It is not only possible but necessary. In the constructing process, the system cannot be built up with the traditional Chinese literary theory or Western one as its matrix; but rather, we should blend the traditional and the modern on the basis of the modern literary theory, and set the 'Four Party Conference' participated by the traditional, modern, Chinese and Western literary theories as the constructing basis.
