Hemingway has been regarded as one of typical male chauvinistic writers. However, there is female consciousness in his works in truth. This thesis analyses the evolvement track of female consciousness in Heingway's works based on its oringinal work, and Heingway's experience. Mereover, the paper probes into the conflict in Hemingway's mind.
