鲍照《代苦热行》主旨辨

On the Gist of Bao Zhao's Imitative Song of Travel in Hardness and Heat

对鲍照<代苦热行>的主旨,主要有两种看法,一为传统看法,认为该诗"刺功高赏薄";一为文学研究所<中国文学史>的看法,认为该诗是对不义战争的指斥.后者合乎鲍诗原意.但鲍照此诗不值得称赞,因他弄错了林邑之战的性质,将正义之战当作不义战争看待.

There are two major viewpoints on Bao Zhao's Imitative Song of Travel in Hardness and Heat:the traditional one is that the poem is intended to criticize low reward for great achievement,and the other one,which can find its expression in History of Chinese Literature compiled by the Chinese Literature Research Institute,and which is in conformity with the poem's original gist,is that the poem is a reproval against unjust war.However,Bao is not worth praising for this poem because he misunderstood the character of the Lin County Battle by regarding it as an unjust war.
