摘要
研究了可调频差范围0~1.5 GHz 的 LD 泵浦可调频差的双频固体激光器。激光增益介质是2 mm厚的1 at%掺杂 Nd:YAG 波片,利用端面泵浦和 F-P 标准具的选模得到单频连续输出,在单频的基础上将λ/4波片加入谐振腔中,造成本征光频率分裂,实现频差连续可调的双频激光输出。采用琼斯矩阵分析光腔内的本征值及本征向量,证明了双频激光两个电矢量偏振态之间总是正交的。两个偏振激光频率间隔由改变λ/4波片快轴之间的交角实现调谐。实验中得到80 MHz~1.3 GHz 范围可调频差的双频激光输出,最大输出功率85 mW。
The laser diode pumped two-frequency solid-state laser is investigated with tunable frequency difference between 0 and 1.5 GHz.The medium is a 1 at% doped 2 mm thickness Nd:YAG chip.Longitudinally monomode oscillation is obtained thanks to the etalon in resonator and then is splitted into two orthogonally polarized eigenstates by inserting two quarter-wave plates.These two polarized eigenstates are calculated by Jones matrix and the frequency difference tuning can be realized by changing the angles between the fast axes of two quarter-wave plates.In the experiment,the maximum frequency difference was 1.3 GHz,the minimal frequency was 80 MHz and the maximum output power was 85 mW.
