Checking the diameter and quantity of dust particles in the air is an important method for monitoring the environment quality. One single-chip microcomputer MEGA8515 made by ATMEL Co. , is developed to detect the laser sensor signals and to calculate the quality of each size particle according to the model after getting the data. The data can be sent back to the remote monitors if a communication system is set up.
