Lean-production includes four support technologies as follows: Group Technology, Just In The, Concurrent Engineering and Total Quality Management. As a management philosophy, it not only be used in production management, but also be used in the research of computer aided process planning(CAPP). In the research of CAPP, more rational and practical CAPP system can be developed by the using of Lean-production theory.
