Septicemia and Bacterial L-forms

摘要 Septicemia is not a disease entity due to particular kind of pathogens, but a state of disease, that may occur in any infections, when the pathogens invade,multiply and liberate toxins into the blood. The clinical manifestation of septicemia may vary from subclinical, acute onset with chill and fever to sever fatal intoxication, according to the amount and virulence of the pathogens in the blood. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment may make the prognosis of the disease
