A brief introduction to flowmeter calibrating methods,design criteria, working principles and main technical parameters of flowmeter calibration device is given first. Then the security of the device's fidelity is analyzed. Finally a detailed introduction to the device's application to the propellant filling system at launching sites is made. It is concluded that the adoption of the flowmeter calibration equipment for online verification is the best option to increase the accuracy of filling measurement.
