As the key to quality improvement,corrective and preventive actions are difficult to control among the twenty elements of quality system as specified in ISO 90001 Standards for Quality Management and Quality Assurance.Appropriate corrective and preventive actions are based on a complete stock of basic data,proper statistical techniques and especially scientific ways of thinking.Meanwhile,the implementation of corrective and preventive actions should be under close-circle control so as to ensure the effectiveness of quality improvement.
