摘要 IEEE 802.11e提出了在无线局域网(WLAN)上的服务质量(QoS)保障,它是通过改善传统的媒体访问控制(MAC)协议,使无线网络的QoS问题得以有效地解决。针对无线信道的特点,着重介绍和分析了MAC子层上优先级区分、竞争窗口设置、传输机会分配3种对WLAN QOS的优化机制,并对这3种优化机制进行了性能评价,对WLAN的研究与发展有重要作用。 Based on the traditional Media Access Control( MAC) protocols ,IEEE 802. 11e introduces the Quality of Service(QoS)in Wireless Local Area Network(WLAN)to guarantee theQoS. In this paper , according to the characteristics of the wireless channels, we introduce and analyze three mechanisms on the MAC Layer : Priority Class, Contention Window (CW) , Transmission Opportunity(TxoP). Then we evaluate their performances, which are important to study and develop WLAN in the future.
