Practicing and Thinking on the Library Cataloging Outsourcing of University Libraries

编目业务外包具有降低成本、提高效率、节省时间等优势,结合我馆进行部分业务外包的实践,探讨了高校图书馆编目业务外包的成因并就业务外包的利弊进行分析,对适合外包的业务范围提出几点看法,以达到扬长避短之效果。

The cataloging outsourcing have many advantages,such as dropping cost,higher efficiency and the saving of time.Taking the practicing of our library cataloging outsourcing as an example,the article discusses the cause of university library's cataloging outsourcing and the analysis of its advantages and disadvantages.Then,I put forward my opinion about the fitting scope of cataloging outsourcing to advocate advantage and remove disadvantage.
