This article analyzed the problem about the reasonable choice of horizontal blade gap while double-sides rotary cutting shear and rotary cutting length shear to cut steel plates. Combining with the production practice of double-sides rotary cutting shear and rotary cutting length shear in trial use at No.2 Rolling Mill of SGIS. The experimental formula of the blade gap adjustment was searched.
