An Analysis of Sheng Zhao's Philosophy

僧肇哲学“是作为中华民族思想认识史上的重要一环而存在的”( 1) 前人已做了许多的研究工作 ,但还不够。本文旨在扼要介绍、解读僧肇哲学 ,并略作评论以期更准确地把握。

Sheng Zhao's Buddhist philosophy is revealed through these three arguments: wisdom is devoid of forms and is against knowing; Truth is relative to the void; Stillness and motion are relative to each other. An analysis of those arguments can help reveal an important link in the Chinese philosophical tradition.
