麻栗坡绿柱石矿山是我国惟一的祖母绿矿山 ,目前存在着缺乏规划、设备简陋、管理和技术水平低、安全保障条件差以及劳动者素质低等问题 ,由此造成的资源浪费和环境污染现象十分严重 ,如何使该矿山保持可持续发展成为一项非常艰巨的任务 .

In the Malipo beryl mine, the only mine of beryl in China there exist a lot of problems of lacking programming, poor equipment, low level of management & skills, poor condition and low quality of laborers, which cause serious resources waste & environmental pollution. Therefore, it is a hard job to keep the exploitation sustainable in the 21st century.
