A Causal Analysis of the Failure of Gorbachev’s Reform

苏联亡党亡国的原因固然很多 ,但从一个历史过程来看 ,戈尔巴乔夫的改革思想无疑是一个重要的原因之一。首先是他用全人类的生存来取代苏联人的生存 ;其次是不能正确看待历史 ;其三是“公开性”搞乱了人们的思想 ;其四是没有找准经济体制改革的突破口 ;其五是政治体制改革出现重大失误 ;其六是没有科学的社会主义观 ;其七是改革没有得到广大干部群众的支持。

The collapse of the former USSR is a historical process that can be partly ascribed to the impropriety of Gorbachev’s unsupported reform. His thinking suffered from such serious errors as taking the existence of the whole mankind for that of the Russians, holding onto a political overtness that confused the social awareness, starting the economic reform at a wrong point, taking a wrong line in the political reform, and lacking a proper understanding of history and scientific socialism.
