建安七子之一的刘桢,其诗作呈现出“壮而不密”的风格特色,主要有匡时济世、建功立业的豪壮情怀,有心愿不遂的感伤而呈现的悲壮,也有雍容和顺的淡然和心境的蕴藉而表现的平壮。这种或浓或淡的感情溯源于其生平经历,渐染于其思想意度,贯穿了他的整个人生路程。

Liu Zhen was a major poet on the Jian'an stage.His poetical style shows a virile tendency,with abundant embellishments,betraying his ambition and his agony.His poetry falls into three types: of ambitious dream to rectify the times;of solemn and stirring grieve for failed ambitions;of great and quiet tolerance of a peaceful mind.
