从毛泽东为代表的第一代领导集体提出的“四个现代化”发展目标,到邓小平用“小康”来诠释的“中国式的现代化”,再到江泽民为核心的第三代领导集体提出的“全面建设小康社会”目标的确立,体现了中共三代领导集体在发展目标和发展战略上的一脉相承,同时又是不断发展、完善、超越的过程。

The first generation of leaders headed by Mao zedong put forward the goal of "modernizations".Deng Xiaoping explained "Chinese modernization is to be well-off".The third generation of leaders centered by Jiang Zemin establish the "overall building of a well-off society".All these can be traced to the same origin and come down in one continuous line.And yet they develop,perfect and surpass one another.
