On the development of humanities and social sciences in universities of engineering during integration

重视和发展文科是工科院校实施综合化的必然趋势。本文在分析了工科院校在向综合 性大学转变进程中发展文科的重要意义、影响文科发展的制约因素的基础上,提出文科发展的 思路和策略。

In the transitional period from an engineering - oriented university to a comprehensive one, it has become inevitable for such a university to attach great importance to the development of humanities and social sciences. This paper discusses the significance and constraints in the development of humanities and social sciences in engineering - oriented universities during the transitional period and explores some approaches and some strategies in this field.
