本文从英语口语的讨论式教学法入手,阐述了在口语课堂中如何运用英语电影开展讨论式教学的原则,提出了运用电影播放与小组讨论相互穿插进行,在难度上螺旋式递进的教学方法;文章以著名英国喜剧大师查理.卓别林主演的电影《淘金梦》为例,介绍了该方法在实践中的运用。

Starting from oral English teaching through discussion,this thesis explains the principles of how to develop it by the use of English movies.It puts forwards a step-by-step teaching method in the shape of spirality,which carries through the play of English movies and group discussion in turn.Taking the famous comedy 'The Gold Rush' as an example,in which the famous British actor Chaplin acted the leading role,the thesis introduces the concrete steps of the application of this method.
