My Reflections upon Creating Urban Sculptures

本文就当前城市雕塑发展现状提出了城市雕塑创作的地位问题和在其所处的大环境背景下如何创作出精品的问题,并通过和建筑学科的比照论证了城市雕塑在城市建设中的重要作用,同时提出当代城市雕塑创作中应具备的必要条件,以利于促进城市雕塑的健康发展,推动当前城市建设的步伐。

This paper discusses that is the right status of city sculpture nowadays and how to create good city sculpture in the actual environment. At the same time, this paper contrasts city sculpture with architecture to prove that it plays an important role in city construction, and presents the necessary conditions of creating city sculpture at the present age. All we do are to promote the development of city sculpture and city construction.
