摘要 清末的中国,书籍成了人们获得“救亡图存”真理的最重要的途径。在此情况下,书籍市场也“顿成活跃之观”。大量新式报刊的出现,使得书籍广告成了书籍市场的一个重要组成部分。本文意在通过对于1898-1901年间《申报》书籍广告内容的描述与分析,再现清末思想启蒙时代的书籍市场的概貌及特点,并勾勒出当时中国知识分子的进路。 In the last stage of the Qing Dynasty, books and periodicals became the most important approach for the Chinese people to acquire the truth for saving the nation from extinction, and accordingly, the market of books and periodicals suddenly flourished. A large number of newspapers and periodicals of new types came forth,making the advertisements of books and periodicals an important part of the market of the kind. The present paper is to reproduce a general picture of the book-and- periodical market during the enlightenment period in the late stage of the Qing Dynasty through the description and analysis of the advertisements of books and periodicals in Shenbao between 1898-1901, and to outline the way the Chinese intellectuals improved themselves during that period.
