试论地域文化对儿童发展的意义

On the Implication of Regional Culture for Children and the Design of Its Related Teaching Material

地域文化对儿童的意义在于:对地域文化的尊重,是教育关怀个体生命独特性的体现;它有利于儿童形成正确而清晰的自我意识,缓解儿童与课程之间的对立,激发学生的创新意识和创新能力。同时,地域文化还有助于教育者深入了解教育对象的特性,从而提高教育质量。为了充分发挥地域文化的教育作用,地域文化的教材设计应注意几个方面,其中包括:应引导学生进行价值反思;充分运用真实的生活情境;重视地域文化的整体性特征;突出地域文化的区域特色以及培养学生合理的文化观。

Regional culture plays a very importment part in children's development.The introduction of regional culture into schooling may provide educators with a new angle of view to think highly of the students' peculiarity of their life,help students to develop a rational self-awareness,relieve the tension between curriculum and students,and encourage students to be more creative.It has been found in the present paper that regional culture may help teachers to detect their students' personality more effectively and improve the quality of education.The paper also presents some advice for the design of teaching material to integrate regional culture into the present curriculum.Such a practice can encourage students to appreciate multiculture,help students to explore the value of culture through the relation between culture and their life,and discuss regional culture from a systemic point of view.
