A View on the Clause-Restricting Contexts Through the Single-Syllabic Antonymic Adjectives

单音反义形容词(如“大-小”)具有对应性强、独立性差、灵活性大的特点,在语法研究中具有特殊价值。由单音反义形容词构成的小句,受到上下文语境和情景语境的制约,也受到潜语境的内在制约。小句蕴涵的逻辑语义使潜语境具有不同的表现形式,潜语境又对小句产生了多元的制约功能。

Single-syllabic antonymic adjectives are strong in correspondence, weak in independence and flexible in use. Therefore, they are of importance in grammar study. The clauses with such adjectives are restricted by different types of contexts, including latent context, which may exerts its multi-restriction on the clause because of the logical meaning in the clause.
