摘要
语篇宏观结构理论认为,阅读过程是读者把句子或句子片段提供的命题信息浓缩,由语义的微观结构向宏观结构转换述评的过程,读者通过运用删除、概括、构建等规则对语篇语义信息处理,从而构建出一个新的命题,达到把握该序列的宏观结构的目的。文章对大学英语阅读教学提出指导性建议。
Van Dijk held the view that readers construct a new proposition in the reading process by means of deleting, generalizing and constructing the materials. It is a process of condensation about the proposition of all the sentences or sentence segments concerned. This paper discusses the feasibility of macro-structures analysis of discourse and puts forward related advice on reading comprehension in college English teaching.
