Heshun Village is located at 4 km southwest of Tengchong County seat, Yunnan Province. Heshun implies that people live in harmony and happiness. The village is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Today, there are less than 6000 people living in the village, but more than 10000 Heshun people residing in 13 countries and regions. The centenary village in the shape of a horse hoof is perched silently on the highland. It has not only the well-preserved folk dwellings typical of the Ming and Qing dynasty architectural styles, but also the largest rural library in the country.
