The First Bridge on the Yellow River

黄河铁桥又称“中山铁桥”、“中山桥”,位于兰州市滨河路中段北侧的白塔山下。黄河铁桥是5464公里黄河上第一座真正意义上的桥梁,因而被称为“天下黄河第一桥”。

The iron bridge on the Yellow River is located at the foot of White Pagoda Hill in the northern side of Binhe Road of Lanzhou City. It was the first Bridge in real meaning on the 5464 km long Yellow River. The bridge is a pioneering work in the history of Chinese bridges as the materials used for building the bridge including even a rivet, an iron bar and paint were all imported from Germany and transported to Lanzhou after passing through many places.
