姚燧散文的理性特质

On the rational speciality of Yao Sui's prose

姚燧的散文创作从一开始就深受理学思想的影响,在他的文章中,无论写景、叙事,还是人物品评,最基本的特质就是理性化。姚燧散文的理性特质,对元代的散文创作产生了极为重要的影响,姚隧因之被称为"一代之宗工";元代散文大家多承继此风,主张"文以明道",并最终形成元文"偏于经世致用,而乏抒发情性;偏于纪事明道,而乏绘句章"的普遍特点。

The creation of Yao Sui's prose was influenced by rationalism from the very begining.In his prose,either describing the scenery or an event,or commenting on the persons,the basic speciality was its rationality.The rational speciality of Yao Sui's prose had great influence on the creation of the articles in the Yuan Dynasty.Because of this,Yao Sui was called'the most important master of great learning and integrity at that time'.Many prose writers inherited this,advocated that'the articles should show the whys and where fores'.As a result,'stressing the aspeet of use at the expense of lyrics and stressing the aspect of showing hows and whys at the expense of vivid description'were formed and became very widespread in the articles in the Yuan Dynasty.
