《四库全书总目》是根据当时最高统治者的意旨为宣扬封建道德而修撰的,故该书存在收书范围不普遍、评价不公、分类偏见较深等问题。但《四库全书总目》是一部具有很高的学术价值的目录学名著,是我国古代目录学发展史上的丰碑。

The General Catelogue of SiKuQuanShu was compiled to advocate feudal morality on the basis of the highast rulers,intention,as a result ,it remains some shortcomings such as lacking of universality in collection,unfair comments and deeper prejudice in classification,ets. On the whole ,it is a famous work which has great academic value.It is a momument of ancient bibliography in China.
