Thinking about Development of Education in a Harmonious Society in Our Country

党的十六届四中全会提出了建设社会主义和谐社会的目标。要建设和谐社会首要和最根本的是教育,教育公平是最根本的公平,教育公平是社会和谐的基础,人的和谐发展是社会和谐的核心,社会主体不和谐不可能形成和谐的社会,为实现社会的和谐发展,教育必须做到:以普通教育者可以承受的教育成本提供教育,坚持公平优先兼顾效率的原则,培养社会建设真正需要的人,确立与社会发展相适应的教育发展定位。

The target that builds the harmonious society of socialism has been brought up by the Fourth Session of the Sixteenth Plenary Session of the Central committee of the CPC.But the first and basic thing is education.The equality of education is the basic equality and basis of social harmony.The harmonious development of human is the core of social harmony.If the social subject is not harmonious,harmonious society can't be founded.In order to realize the harmonious development of the society,the following must be done in education:The education opportunity should be provided on the basis of the cost which a normal pedagogue can offer,the principle of equality first and consideration given to efficiency must be insisted on.In this way,human that is really needed in the society can be trained and we can make educational development meet the needs of the social development.
