The teaching method “Learning and Guiding” is a main way by teaching themselves and the teacher guides them in this process. The teaching task can be finished by guiding, explaining briefly and practicing. It is clear that the teacher teaches theory briefly and importantly, the operation of practice is more and skilled. Its aim is to solve the problem that the content of practice is more, but the periods of the teaching theory is less. It can add the practice teaching and cultivate the skills of the students' practice operation. For five years, it has proved that the method is reasonable and effective. It is much better than the traditional method. This article introduces the step and effect of this method. It has also proved it's workable in the teaching of planting specialized courses.
