The Training Model and Challenge for the Cultivation of Geological Undergraduates with Ability in the New Century

新世纪的地质学人才培养应有新的思路和模式, 温家宝总理在回访母校时提出的:“品德优良, 基础厚实, 知识广博, 专业精深”殷切期望, 是我们培养新世纪地质学人才的指导思想。基于这个思想, 对新世纪地质学人才的培养方式提出一些看法。首先是在课程设置上抓住两个基础 (自然科学基础和学科基础), 重视创新思维的训练, 采取多形式的培养方案; 其次加强选修课的管理。

Focusing on the development of national economics, the geological higher education career will face the challenge to adapt on the socialism market economics structure, to extract subjects orientation, to adjust educational resources, to content the subject structure adjustment, to set up own famous brand, to build the subject development platform, to show own special features from others.
