摘要
颜色词除了表示客观色彩意义外,还具有更多的联想和比喻义。由于文化风俗、地理位置、历史传统、思维习惯等的不同,颜色词在英汉语言中也就具有不同的联想意义和文化内涵。注重颜色词的文化差异有助于正确理解词汇载有的文化内涵,提高跨文化交际能力。
Color words have numerous associative meanings in addition to their conceptual meanings. They convey different feelings and cultural connotations due to different customs, geography, tradition and habits. A comparison between them can help us to have a better understanding of these words and improve our intercultural communication ability.
