英语副语言在语言交际中的功用探析

Research on English Paralanguage in Spoken Language Communication

副语言作为一种重要的非语言交流方式,在人类语言交际中起着极其重要的作用。它贯穿着语言交际过程的始末,对话语意义的确定、强化、区分,情态、场景的阐释、烘托,起着辅助、甚至替代的作用。本文从语言交际的实际出发,对英语副语言的形式、特征、分类及功用进行了探讨和分析。

As a type of nonverbal communication, paralanguage is of great importance in spoken language communication. It exists in the whole process of spoken language communication, and plays a role of supplement or even substitution in defining, reinforcing or differentiating the utterance meaning, and interpreting the mood and occasion. From a communicative approach, this paper discusses its forms, features, classification and functions in practical communication.
