On the evening of November 28, 2005, a robot “Lingxi-H” went onto the stage of the “Say What You Want” of CCTV. The robot steadily strode over obstacles according to orders. When master of the robot ordered it to find the most beautiful person, its eyes quickly fell on the compere He Jing. People were told that this robot was independently researched and developed by China Academy of Sciences Shenyang Automation Research Institute. It has independent property right of knowledge. This robot can replace people for working under the poisonous and harmful circumstance. People can use it to detect, eliminate danger, remove exploder, get rid of poison, and others. This robot can grasp material of five kilograms and work to the height of 2.2 meters. It is equipped with LCD, and people can observe its motion and working in four directions. In May 2005, the robot took an official service for the Public Security Bureau of Nanjing City. All the targets of Lingxi-H Robot got to the world advanced level. In September 2005, it ranked first through survey and appraisal among the national robots for anti- terror and explosion protection.
