The details of quality certification process for develo ping the nodular iron cylinder body of a gas turbine was introduced.Based on the configuration of the casting,the difficulties may be met in production of the cylinder body were analyzed,and the main technical measures to ensure casting quality were described including:chemical composition control,choice of raw materials,iron melting and treating process and casting method,and so on.A casting was taken as example to show its practical casting method.
