摘要 梭罗是美国十九世纪著名文学家、思想家、超验主义杰出代表之一。他的教育思想强调个人能力的全面发展,通过培养动手能力和批判性思维能力,学生从生活和社会实践中获得真知。在科技高度发达的当今世界,梭罗关于个人与社会关系、自然与环境保护、学习与终身教育等观点,对我们具有启发和借鉴作用。 Thoreau is a distinguished American writer and thinker of the 19th century,and he is also one of the outstanding representatives of the transcendentalism.His educational thoughts put emphasis on the all-round development of personal capability,and proclaim that the students can acquire true knowledge from social practice if they are well trained to develop their hands-on and critical thinking ability.In the current world where science and technology are highly advanced,re-thinking Thoreau's views towards the relationship between individual and society,nature and the protection of enviroment,learning and life-long education,can still teach us a good lesson and draw a lot of inspiration.
