摘要
语言的模糊性是语言的基本属性之一。模糊语言运用于商务英语信函中,可使措词有度、表达含蓄、分寸适当、留有余地,充分利用模糊语言积极的一面,避免其消极的一面,可以促进交易双方完成有效的商务交易。
Fuzziness is one of the essential properties of language.Applying fuzzy language to business English correspondence,we can make moderate wording,implicit expression,fit sense of propriety,leaving margin and make full use of its positivity and avoid its negativity so as to promote the deals between the two parties involved in the business effectively.
