Overview of Study on Peking Government's Treat Revision Diplomacy

北京政府是我国历史上第一个明确提出修改不平等条约的政府,在中国废除不平等条约的历史进程中具有相当重要的历史意义。学界对北京政府修约外交的关注多集中在中前期,对其末期修约尚未引起足够重视,因此,北京政府修约外交的研究还有待深入。

Peking Government was the first government that clearly advanced the revision of unequal treaties in Chinese history,and it had quite important historical status in the process of abolishing unequal treaties.The academe concerned more with the early stage of Peking Government's diplomacy,but didn't pay more attention to the latter period.Such study to Peking Government's Treat Revision Diplomacy should be continued further.
