Main features of CAN and main contents of CAN 2.0 norms were introduced,including hierarchical structure of the CAN,the basic concept of packet transmission,frame types and formats,message identification and coding,error handling and fault definition.And based on DSP TMS 320LF 2407A,independent CAN controller SJA1000 and CAN driver 82C50,the application of CAN-BUS in modern automobile was introduced and finally the prospect of CAN-BUS technology was explored.
