A Brief Introduction to the Translation of English Colors

有关颜色的短语有三种方法翻译:直译,近译和意译。为了更好地翻译有关颜色的短语,我们要区别一词多义、熟悉两种语言的文化背景、符合两种语言的使用习惯。

Phrases with colors can be translated in three ways: word-to-word translation, similar meaning translation and free translation. To translate them well, one must get to know different meanings of the same words, get familiar with the cultural background of the two languages and conform to the habits of the use of the two languages.
