The vocabulary inadequacy is one of the biggest problems that puzzle the English language learners in our country for many years. Therefore, how to help students improve their vocabulary has become one of the most pressing issues. In this article, the writer mainly discusses how to use association to help students enlarge their vocabulary, which is chiefly based on three aspects, that is, word structure, word class and word meaning.
