The Source of Sex Culture in West China

中国西部是中华民族和华夏文明的发源地,性文化在西部同样源远流长。性文化虽属观念形态,但与社会生产力发展水平、不同民族习惯、婚俗、文化心理等相联系,关乎人类的健康发展和社会的安定繁荣,确有研究探讨的必要。在古人看来,满足食欲和性欲,是人的本性,是最自然的两大要求,所谓“食、色,性也”。所以他们不仅敢于公开宣称,而且在生活中用各种方式表现出来。

West China is the birthplace of the Chinese nation and civilization. Its sex culture has a distant origin and long development. In the eyes of the ancients, the desire for food and sex was part of human nature and 2 innate demands. So, they not only exposed this kind of aspiration, but also expressed it in the ritual dance, worship of reproductive organs and illicit sexual relations, which is displayed artistically in the rock paintings, bricks with carved pattern and literary works.
