Ancient City in Harmony between Man and Nature

古城阆中,是一个与我极为有缘的地方.在那里,我曾结识了许多对我特别重要的朋友,也经历了许多对我一生而言特别重要的事情.所以,我和我的阆中朋友们一样,也称阆中是自己的"风水宝地".

Langzhong is an ancient city in the finest fengshui atmosphere. By fengshui, we mean the harmony between man and nature, i.e, favorable climatic, geographical and human conditions. The city is situated at the foot of a mountain and beside a river, which is considered to be in topographical advantages, just like the auspicious sign of the dragon and the phoenix bringing prosperity. All the old streets and houses in the city were unexceptionally designed and constructed according to fengshui principles, so as to contribute to the human habitation.
